In North America, brands go all out for holidays. Unless that holiday is Ramadan. KitKat decided to change that, by celebrating a break everyone else ignored: Iftar — the daily breaking of fast during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

Launched in partnership with Muslim influencers, the 30-piece Iftar bar didn’t just give practicing Muslims a break from their fast — it gave them representation in the mainstream that other North American brands had ignored.
